Hi, welcome to my website!!
I write Adult fantasy and speculative fiction novels, and gritty short stories. On my blog, I offer inspirational writing tips to help writers pursue their dreams, develop and build their brand, and above all else… keep motivated. I run a creative writing workshop and co-host a group for local entrepreneurs in my area. So don’t forget to subscribe and join me over at my blog.
I’m now offering free critiques on the first five pages of your novel or query letter for all you query ready writers. Head on over to the ‘Contact me’ page for more information.
Introverted, creative and above all else a dreamer.
I’m currently editing my fourth novel, Entangled. A speculative fiction similar to the TV series Fringe. My second and third novels are currently being queried. I love nothing more than reading fantasy novels, but I also enjoy paranormal romance and thrillers.
If I’m not reading or writing, you’ll find me binge watching TV series, having coffee dates with my friends, practicing yoga and taking woodland walks with my dog. My home and heart belong in Wales, I’m lucky enough to live in a pretty coastal town within Cardigan Bay where I have plenty of beaches at my fingertips.
Thanks for stopping by.
We’ve all experienced the depths of our doubt, and boy, it’s not fun. So where does it come from and how do we combat it? People can say the cruelest of things, and yet, when we say those things to ourselves, about our own writing, we allow it. We even back it up with reasons to prove it’s rubbish. Let’s be honest, sometimes we are our own harshest critique.
We all want a catchy title. Something that grabs the readers attention and draws them in. The saying goes, ‘don’t judge a book by it cover’ yet we all do. Equally as important as the cover, is the book’s title. It needs to be compelling, intriguing and in a few short words pinpoint what your novel entails.
I’m a huge fan of positive posts. Who doesn’t need a daily dose of inspiration? Sometimes, we need a little push to help us work towards our goals and chase our dreams. Also, it’s good to take a breath and check in with reality. To accept our struggles, knowing that they don’t define us, but they do make us human.
