Hi, welcome to my website!!
I write Adult fantasy and speculative fiction novels, and gritty short stories. On my blog, I offer inspirational writing tips to help writers pursue their dreams, develop and build their brand, and above all else… keep motivated. I run a creative writing workshop and co-host a group for local entrepreneurs in my area. So don’t forget to subscribe and join me over at my blog.
I’m now offering free critiques on the first five pages of your novel or query letter for all you query ready writers. Head on over to the ‘Contact me’ page for more information.
Introverted, creative and above all else a dreamer.
I’m currently editing my fourth novel, Entangled. A speculative fiction similar to the TV series Fringe. My second and third novels are currently being queried. I love nothing more than reading fantasy novels, but I also enjoy paranormal romance and thrillers.
If I’m not reading or writing, you’ll find me binge watching TV series, having coffee dates with my friends, practicing yoga and taking woodland walks with my dog. My home and heart belong in Wales, I’m lucky enough to live in a pretty coastal town within Cardigan Bay where I have plenty of beaches at my fingertips.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ah, procrastination! Ever find yourself filing a tax return when you’re supposed to be fleshing out a character? Or maybe, clearing out the airing cupboard instead of starting the first round of edits? Yes, we’ve all been there. Suddenly, gardening is far more appealing than plodding along with a draft once you hit the middle of a project. Procrastination can be a slipper slope to us mere creatives.
There is nothing more valuable to a writer than a critique partner. It’s a relationship built on mutual respect and trust. Quality feedback elevates a writer to the next level, helping them to see possible blind spots, their strengths, and to pinpoints areas to that might need tightening. It’s important when critiquing that we remember to be responsible. Our input should be kind, thoughtful and constructive. After all, who doesn’t love to have their writing complimented, but is it helping the writer to grow?
I’m sharing my updated website and I’ve included some information about my writing. So you’ll get to see my aesthetic boards and learn a little bit about the novels I’m currently querying, editing, or plotting.
